Beaworthy Skin Care is proud to offer a diverse selection of treatments all of which are evidence based, fully documented and responsibly sourced. The treatments provided are developed to address a range of concerns to the face and body, suiting all budgets.

Throughout my career of 30+ years I have undertaken extensive training and post graduate training. I was part of the first cohort of Registered Nurses to complete minor surgery at Queens University Hospital, Nottingham, 2003 followed by my Dermatology Diploma, Independent Nurse Prescriber, 2008, Advanced Nurse Practitioner 2010. I am still working in the NHS which maintains my currency  between running my own Medical Aesthetics Clinic. The clinic was put forward for the best new business awards for Aesthetics in 2025 reflecting my high levels of professionalism and care. I continue to be proactive in my role by teaching and mentoring registered colleagues and doctors within dermatology. For patients or those interested, I also conduct informal 'Skin Workshops' which are aimed at increasing awareness of skin issues and their treatments .  

My passion is my patients- empowering them to take control and understand their skin health. Watching confidence grow with the treatments and home care regimes advised; to compliment what is accomplished in clinic. I absolutely regard my patients as the backbone of my clinic.

Here in the clinic, you will be greeted by Jools, (Retired Registered Nurse specialising in tissue viability) and myself. By booking an appointment you will receive a detailed consultation which will take in to account your medical and social history, your aspirations and goals based on the areas of concern to you; allowing us both to formulate a bespoke treatment package.

I specialise in a natural and softening approach by assessing and treating your anti-ageing needs/ skin conditions with a variety of injectables/ non injectables and skin treatments for the face and body both within the clinic as well as at home.

Coming from a Dermatology and Plastics background, I have an in-depth knowledge of our skin. Fascinated with its function, healing, protection and the ageing process. We are amazing as individuals. Looking after our skin helps us to feel good about ourselves. Our face is the photograph that everyone sees.
As we age, so our skin ages, not helped by environmental or social background such as sun damage and smoking. Menopause is a big issue and thankfully coming to the fore in conversations and awareness of its own now. Ladies who say they feel that they have aged 8 years overnight are right. Oestrogen is attached to every cell in our body from skin cells to bone and muscle. When we hit the menopause button we have already been menopausal 10 years prior to symptoms. The cube light helps in the reduction of fine lines and wrinkles, it is also proven to help wound healing and reduce scarring as well as aid in neurological pain relief.
We talk about collagen and are aware of the benefits but no one talks about Hyaluronic acid [HA], a natural substance boosting skin, eye and joint health to accelerate wound healing, it also helps your skin to stretch and flex reducing wrinkles and fine lines.HA hydrates skin from within whilst collagen helps keep skin firm and tight, working effectively together.
