It's Spring!
The clocks have sprung forwards and the mornings are lighter as well as the evenings and there is beauty everywhere! It helps to awaken our senses and we are more alert to everything around us.
I have had the most amazing start to the Easter break spending time with my husband, children and gorgeous 6 month old Bertie for a weekend before my 18 month old grandson Edward powered his way into Easter with his energy and taking us all with him!
My future daughter in law has dermatitis below left and right eye which led me to think about bringing back skin health and recognition into the clinic for this month. Weddings, christenings, anniversaries, special occasions or just going out feeling refreshed, but, if our skin is not then we are not going to be in a good place either.
I can confidently state that I have had many patients over the past 18 months in clinic and 36 years in Dermatology to ease their battle with their skin and with National Skin Awareness around the corner what a good way to start April.

Microneedling alongside XO Nature Plant Based Exosomes.
I have completed a course in microneedling because I wanted to focus on hair growth covering all aspects of difficulty with hair loss, from bereavement to alopecia to female/ male balding hair patterns. I wanted to introduce nature plant based exosomes as they contain a range of growth factors including purified xosomes particles derived from red root gromwell stem cells-all help to promote good healthy skin and scalp conditions.
Mesotherapy is another option for hair stimulation as well as facial skin health.

Never completed a full skincare regime?
Start with a double foam wash in the morning with a serum/ essence that suits your skin type and health, finishing with a SPF 50 Dermocorrective cream, In the evening use a foam wash x 1 with a serum / essence and then off to bed

With skin assessments for inflammatory skin conditions I may suggest Restore by Hydropeptide to address dry skin and a compromised barrier; or Calm to address sensitive and irritated skin, Then there is Clarify for acne prone skin.

I am also very excited to introduce Laura to the clinic as Podiatrist, she is hoping to start in May and able to cover all foot care including removal of nails. I will forward details for her nearer the time.
